Having entered the world of cryptocurrency nine years ago, Kordan naturally ventured into the blockchain start-up scene and started KryptoGO, an asset management platform that protects one’s assets in a legal and compliant way. He strongly believes in having a growth mindset, the ability to think quickly and being flexible when dealing with challenges in his entrepreneurial journey.

- Short Introduction of yourself and your startup:
Ans: I am Kordan, the Founder and CEO of KryptoGO, a decentralised asset management platform where one can manage all decentralised assets through their phone number. Having entered the world of cryptocurrency nine years ago, I naturally ventured into the blockchain start-up scene.
KryptoGO represents your identity. We aim to connect your real identity and your identity in the metaverse, by simplifying asset management and safely protecting your assets in a legal and compliant way. KryptoGO aims to establish a credible mutual trust channel between buyers and sellers.
2. What inspired you to develop your idea into a startup?
Ans: I have used more than 100 crypto wallets in the past ten years, with many assets scattered across various blockchain protocols. Since cryptocurrency is on the long road to compliance, the reusable KYC registry would be key. Hence, KryptoGO has built a simple and safe solution to manage all on-chain assets and shape on-chain credit. This returns the ownership of data, assets, and identity back to everyone.
3. What’s the biggest challenge you faced when starting a company and how did you overcome it?
Ans: My biggest challenge was setting the company’s direction. When I decided to pivot the company’s solution to the regulatory infrastructure for VASP, I did not get full support from my investors. They did not think that the blockchain had the possibility of establishing on-chain credit. With hard work, determination and grit, the company eventually found a feasible path to assist VASP decentralised applications that complied with regulations and managed cryptocurrency assets.
4. What is your dream and aspirations for the company going forward?
Ans: I believe that we are still in the era of internet imperialism, where our sovereignty is controlled by various tech giants. The data we generate does not belong to ourselves. I firmly believe that users should have autonomy over their data, and hence we need a single trusted source. In the next generation of the Internet, known as Web 3.0, we aim to develop digital infrastructure in the metaverse or the blockchain, based on our personal financial history that opens a new world of financial services and applications. I truly believe that financial services in the future will be very different from what we have now.
5. Who is your role model, or Which public personalities have you been inspired by in your startup journey?
Ans: I admire Elon Musk’s courage. He dares to do what most people are afraid of and is brave enough to make his ideas a reality. He is also goal-oriented and fearless when making his dreams come true.
6. What keeps you awake at night?
Ans: The blockchain and virtual assets industry is ever-changing, with new talents and funding opportunities pouring into the industry every day. These changes keep me awake — I get excited when observing changes in the market, watching my competitors’ every move and learning from the best entrepreneurs in the world. It takes a lot of time to read, digest, absorb every piece of knowledge available and to continue improving our products and services.
7. What is your motivation that keeps you going every day?
Ans: To contribute and make an impact on the world.
8. What is your strategy when things don’t turn out the way you expect?
Ans: A growth mindset, the ability to think quickly and being flexible always helps me overcome every difficulty.
9. What is the biggest difference you see from the start of your journey to where you are today?
Ans: I find myself humbler than when I first started, in terms of accepting my failures and learning from others.
